演講人簡介：   霍震博士，耶魯大學助理教授，研究方向為宏觀經濟學和信息經濟學。2009年本科畢業于中國人民大學經濟學院經濟學-數學雙學位實驗班，2015年博士畢業于美國明尼蘇達大學， 曾于2011年至2013年任明尼阿波利斯聯邦儲備銀行研究分析師，2015年至2016年在紐約大學與諾貝爾經濟學獎得主薩金特教授進行合作研究。2015年作為Restud Tour發言人之一參加歐洲學術巡講。研究成果發表在《Review of Economic Dynamics》、《經濟研究》等國際國內頂尖學術期刊上。

演講內容摘要：   This paper proposes a novel equilibrium concept, the organizational equilibrium, for economies with time-inconsistent problems. Agents in the economy are free to make proposals about actions for all generations, or copy the previous proposals, or wait for future generations to make proposals.  The organizational equilibrium is a proposal that will be followed by all the agents. Compared with the standard Markov perfect equilibrium, the welfare is improved significantly without resorting to trigger strategies. The policy rule in the organizational equilibrium is  similar to that in the Markov perfect equilibrium initially, and gradually converges to being similar to that in an economy with commitment. We also show how to extend the equilibrium concept to government policy problems.
