講座簡介：

We backcast expectations on job finding and job loss in the Survey of Consumer Expectations to 1978. We document that job finding expectations are highly predictive of the true job finding probability, while expectations of job loss are sticky. We reveal substantial heterogeneity in these expectations across observable and unobservable dimensions. Both information rigidity and risk heterogeneity play a substantial role in explaining households' perceptions of unemployment risk. We calibrate these facts to a heterogeneous-agent consumption-saving model with unemployment to quantify the implied precautionary savings over the business cycle.

主講人簡介：

仇心誠，北京大學光華管理學院助理教授，2023年博士畢業于賓夕法尼亞大學，本科、碩士均畢業于北京大學。他的研究領域包括宏觀經濟學、勞動經濟學、企業動態等。他的研究成果已發表在宏觀經濟學領域國際頂尖期刊Journal of Monetary Economics 和 Journal of Political Economy Macroeconomics，并有兩項研究收到了經濟學五大頂刊之一Review of Economic Studies的修訂邀請。他連續兩次獲得中國宏觀經濟國際年會的最佳青年學者論文獎，獲得中國留美經濟學會的學術新星獎、鄒至莊最佳論文獎，賓夕法尼亞大學的最佳博士論文獎、院長學者榮譽等。
