　　5月25日中午，由經濟學院能源經濟系主辦的能源經濟研討會（Energy Economics Seminar）第七十期會議在經濟學院明德主樓623會議室舉行。來自瑞典哥德堡大學Yonas Alem先生進行了題為“Liquidity constraint, LPG stoves and charcoal consumption: a randomized controlled trial in Tanzania ”的學術報告。

   在本次演講中，Ynoas Alem先生向我們介紹了他關于坦桑尼亞城鎮家庭能源使用情況的調查。他設計了一個隨機對照試驗，研究液化石油氣等能源的利用對木炭使用的影響。結果表明，采用液化石油氣爐灶可以減少47.5%的木炭使用量；與提供貸款相比，提供爐灶購買的補貼會在更大程度上減少木炭的使用（54%）。報告強調了放松家庭的金融約束和提高獲得信貸能力的重要性，鼓勵城市家庭轉向清潔能源，并節省剩余的森林資源。

   能源經濟研討會由中國人民大學經濟學院能源經濟系定期推出，旨在為研究能源經濟問題的學者提供一個交流的平臺，以促進我國能源經濟教學研究水平的提高。

   主講人簡介：Yonas Alem is currently a research fellow at the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg, where he received his PhD in Economics. He is also the research Director of the EfD network where he undertakes duties of reviewing research proposals, research deliverables and submissions for EfD discussion paper series by researchers in the network. He taught Economics and Econometrics courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels at various teaching institutions including the University of Gothenburg, the University of California Berkeley, Addis Ababa University, and the University of Dar es Salaam. His research covers a range of topics related to role of risk, shocks and poverty in influencing decisions and well-being of households in developing regions of the world, with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
