【主題】：College Expansion Reform and College Premium in China
【摘要】：Using UHS data set, the authors investigate how the college premium was impacted by the college expansion. They found that college premium for young labor has decreased due to supply surge, while the older workers still enjoy increasing college premium. The impact of supply on premium is underestimated in OLS. When instrumented with provincial expansion differences, 1 percent increase in relative supply will lead to 0.17 percent decrease in college premium. Real effects should be larger than estimated considering immigrants.


【演講人簡要簡介】
馬光榮是中國人民大學財政金融學院助理教授，徐建煒是北京師范大學經濟與工商管理學院助理教授，紀洋博士是北京大學國家發展研究院博士生。三人研究領域都在發展經濟學領域，并且每人都在《經濟研究》《世界經濟》等發表過多篇學術論文。
