題目：Domestic Content Requirement Policy and Indigenous Innovation in Wind Power in China

摘要: This paper investigates the impacts of the domestic content requirement （DCR） policy on indigenous innovation in China’s wind power industry. We study the quantity and quality of invention patent filings in the State Intellectual Property Office in China, and use as a comparison the solar photovoltaic sector that did not have such policy. Both Difference-in-Difference （DD）and Difference-in-Difference-in-Difference （DDD） estimations suggest that the policy significantly increased China’s indigenous innovation in wind power technology: relative to those in solar photovoltaic, the number of invention patent filings by Chinese, particularly by non-academic Chinese, increased; and meanwhile their success rate did not drop. Our findings have important implications for designing effective industrial policies.

主講人簡介：雷震，美國加州伯克利大學(xué)農(nóng)業(yè)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士，現(xiàn)任賓夕法尼亞州立大學(xué)能源與礦產(chǎn)工程系助理教授。
