演講人簡介：

John Knight先生是著名的勞動經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家。他是牛津大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)資深教授，并曾擔(dān)任牛津大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)系主任。Knight教授的研究興趣包括勞動力市場，收入分配，人力資源等。John Knight特別關(guān)注發(fā)展中國家的勞動力市場，他是牛津大學(xué)非洲經(jīng)濟(jì)研究中心的創(chuàng)立人之一，并擔(dān)任英國政府、非洲開發(fā)銀行、世界銀行、聯(lián)合國發(fā)展計(jì)劃署等政府機(jī)構(gòu)和國際組織的咨詢顧問。John Knight教授多年以來對中國的發(fā)展懷有濃厚興趣，并傾注熱情。他與多名中國經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家開展密切合作，對中國的經(jīng)濟(jì)改革獻(xiàn)言獻(xiàn)策。2005年他憑借《中國走向勞動力市場》一書榮獲Richard A. Lester獎。1995年至1999年，他曾擔(dān)任中國勞動保障部研究顧問。
